Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Little Gallery respects your privacy and takes care when handling your personal information and your family's artwork.

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you when you use our website or purchase from us.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with Little Gallery, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and contact details.

  • Your billing and delivery address.

  • Order details, including products purchased and order history.

  • Information you provide when contacting us.

  • Your child's name, age or other details you choose to include in a personalised product.

  • Photographs, scans and digital files of children's artwork that you submit for an order.

  • Website usage information, such as technical data and cookies, where these are used on our website.

We only ask for information that is reasonably needed to operate our business, process your order, communicate with you or improve our services.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfil your order.

  • Create and personalise your artwork book or other products.

  • Arrange printing, packaging and delivery.

  • Contact you about your order or answer your questions.

  • Process payments and maintain appropriate business records.

  • Improve our website and customer experience.

  • Send marketing emails if you have chosen to receive them.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. We may still contact you about an existing order or other important service information.

3. Your child's artwork and information

We treat the artwork you provide as personal family material, not as content for public use.

We use uploaded artwork and personalisation details to create and fulfil your order. We do not publish your child's artwork, name or photographs in our marketing or on social media without appropriate permission.

Digital artwork files are stored while we are working on your order and are deleted after the order is completed, subject to any limited retention required to resolve an issue or meet legal obligations.

Please keep your own copies of original photographs and digital artwork files. Little Gallery is not intended to be a permanent storage or backup service.

4. Payments and service providers

We may share the information needed to complete your order with trusted service providers, such as payment processors, website and file-storage providers, printing suppliers and delivery companies.

These providers receive only the information needed to perform their relevant services. Their own privacy and security practices may also apply.

Payments are processed through the payment options made available at checkout. Little Gallery does not intend to store your full payment card details.

Some service providers may process or store information outside New Zealand.

5. Keeping information secure

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information and uploaded artwork from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure.

No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. We limit access to information to what is reasonably needed to operate Little Gallery and fulfil your order.

6. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including fulfilling orders, providing customer support and meeting applicable legal and accounting requirements.

Digital artwork files are handled in accordance with the retention approach described above. Some order and transaction records may need to be retained for longer where required by law.

7. Cookies and website analytics

Our website or its service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to support website functionality, understand website usage or improve the shopping experience.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the website work.

8. Accessing or correcting your information

You may ask to access the personal information we hold about you or request that incorrect information be corrected, subject to applicable legal requirements.

To make a request, contact us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our business, website or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
